Ryan Salame

Trial testimony identified Salame as FTX Digital Markets' CEO, the operator of FTX's fiat-management team and Alameda's OTC trading, and, in another witness's description, FTX's head of settlements. Witnesses connected him to North Dimension deposit operations, an Alameda loan reportedly used for political donations, investment and real-estate activity, and an unsuccessful strategy for recovering frozen exchange assets.

Singh testified that Salame accessed Singh's and Bankman-Fried's bank accounts and prepared political-donation wires requested through a Signal group. Singh also named Salame as a campaign-finance co-conspirator; the court instructed jurors that Bankman-Fried was not charged in this case with campaign-finance offenses. Owens presented admitted charts tracing North Dimension transfers through Salame's accounts to political recipients. On cross-examination, the defense established that her last-in, first-out method was one tracing convention, that first-in, first-out could produce different results, and that another deposit entered one Salame account before a reviewed political payment.
