Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

The Sam Bankman-Fried Case Archive is part of the Court Daemon trial archive network, published by Court Daemon and built by Trice Digital. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit sbf.courtdaemon.com.

The short version

There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, and no advertising. Google Analytics cookies are optional. You can turn them off in Cookie preferences. Nothing you do here is sold, rented, or shared with data brokers.

What is collected

Usage measurement. The site counts visits using analytics we run ourselves. It records the page viewed, the referring page, the browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your network connection. It sets no cookie, assigns no persistent identifier, and cannot build a profile of you across other websites. The results are aggregate counts used to understand which parts of the archive are useful and to keep the site working well.

Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits. For visitors in the United States, it is on by default. Elsewhere, it stays off unless you accept. It receives the pages viewed, browser and device details, and an approximate location. Advertising features are disabled. Search terms, form entries, URL query parameters and fragments are not sent to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse and attack. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

What you send us. If you report an issue or share published work, the form sends what you enter and the page URL to a private Discord channel for review. Sharing published work requires its URL; a note is optional. Name and reply email are optional on both forms. Contact details are not published. Submissions are kept only as long as they are useful for corrections, replies or reviewing work for inclusion. Please leave out sensitive personal information. Discord's privacy policy applies to its handling of those submissions.

Third-party services

Support link. The footer links to Ko-fi for anyone who wants to support the archive. That is an outside service. If you go there, Ko-fi's policy governs, and no payment is ever processed on this site.

Children

The archive is a public-record reference and is not directed to children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from them.

Your requests

Write to contact@courtdaemon.com with any question about this policy or any request concerning information relating to you. Requests to correct or remove archive content are handled under the Corrections and Removal Requests section of the Terms of Use.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
