Thane Rehn

Served on the prosecution team and conducted examinations of four witnesses across the government's case and the defense case. His assigned work included direct examinations of Kungyu Matthew Huang, Paige Owens, and Robert Boroujerdi, Owens's redirect examination, and the cross-examination of defense witness Joseph Pimbley.

Rehn also participated in the Day 17 charge conference. The discussion addressed proposed changes involving good-faith language, the phrase "voluntarily and with wrongful purpose," and possible aiding-and-abetting language for conduct in which another person committed the substantive offense. The court proposed revised wording and asked whether it addressed his point; the transcript does not show a final ruling on every instruction issue discussed.
